Elliott Media was first engaged by the UK Parliament in 2012 when work started to change parliamentlive.tv. Providing consultancy services to the Parliamentary Recording Unit, we were responsible for gathering the requirements, writing the specification for the Parliament Video Services tender, designing the architecture and overseeing the implementation of the chosen solution.

The convergence of supporting technologies will enable the reduction of overall cost and has improved the reliability of services in order to meet the increased expectations of consumers.

The diversification of the specified technology into four separate deliverables has enabled Parliament take advantage of technologies available in the market place and reduce dependency on a bespoke solution. The specification for the ITT was completed on time within the 35 working days proposed by using a clear plan and methodology to meet with stakeholders, author and communicate the specification to the PRU.

Perform is a leading digital sports content and media group. We provided them with requirements gathering and specification services, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to realise the design and procurement of a new ingest architecture.

Supporting Vyvx solutions to provide video contribution services at major sporting events; support of integrated encoding solutions and transport of video over IP networks, direct liaison with customer’s executive and technical staff including SkySports, ESPN, NBC and The Tennis Channel.

Events include the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, French Open Tennis Championship and the US Open Tennis Championship, London 2012 Olympics.

Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services approached us to provide technical advice to support their bid for a solution for a major French broadcaster. Our involvement focused on the workflow and supporting technologies for an IP connected television studio.

Elliott Media provided consultancy services to Thomson Reuters to support the HD upgrade of World News Express and Reuters Live Stream products to 800 world wide customers. With particular focus on the DVB distribution system and IP delivery to Japan.

The delivery was completed over a short engagement, progress was communicated using a clear project plan and enabled a number of business improvements.
